This is a crochet lace shawl PATTERN.

This is a shawl that looks complicated, but if you just trust yourself, even an advanced beginner should be able to handle it.

You can use any yarn and hook size you like, but I used plied yarn #2 weight (color changing) and a slightly larger hook (J, 6.00mm) to create a beautiful lacy look.

The one pictured here is a shawlette size (54” wide and about 22” tall) but you can easy make yours as long/wide as you like by adding stitches. Instructions for that are in the pattern.

The is a PDF file that includes a pattern chart that makes it easy to follow.

Pretty pattern, I hope my mother-in-law will like it. I bought a yarn in the same color and it looks easy to make. I think I'll make some for myself in seasonal colors for various times of the year!
