► SIZING AND INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATION:

Valance is 45 to 52 inches wide when laid flat. It will fit on a window 33 to 42 inches wide once hung on recommended curtain rod.

This style wraps around the brackets of a continental (Dauphine) rod or similar - we recommend 4-inch, 5-inch or 6-inch brackets on the side for the projection.

The rod should be a 2-1/2-inch flat rod to accommodate the 3-1/2-inch rod pocket of the valance.

You can search your local home improvement store, online, or on Amazon - these rods are white, flat, and fairly easy to find.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Do NOT order a valance that's the same size as your window. This valance has added projections that wrap around each side, so you MUST follow our measuring instructions exactly as stated.

► STEP 1: DIMENSIONS
This valance comes in 45- to 52-inch widths only. PLEASE DO NOT ASK US ABOUT OTHER SIZES.

Most of our customers select the 18-inch length, but you have the option of choosing a 16-inch or and 20-inch length for low or tall ceilings.


► STEP 2: COLOR CHOICE
Some of our shaped valances can be made in different colors. Please go through the pictures above, then type the chosen color in the "Add Your Personalization" text box prompt. If you aren't sure about the color, you can find all our samples by going to indigoandluxe.com/samples


► STEP 3: ADD FRINGE (OPTIONAL)
You can add fringe to the bottom hem of your shaped valance. Fringes over 3-1/2" long are best left for 20" long valances only. We recommend shorter trims if you decide to go with the 16" or 18" valances.
