Please read carefully, especially for available options. This is a Gloss Ceramic, Satin Ceramic* or Glass Tile. The image is a copy of a genuine Victorian era ceramic tile (Villeroy and Boch circa 1900) and is printed through a quality heat process that guarantees vivid colors and crisp images. Perfect as a display item or for back splashes but use a Non-Sand grout and clean with Windex and a non-abrasive cloth. Our tiles have been featured in KITCHENS Magazine (Romantic Homes Publications).

The tile is available with the following sizes and options:

Ceramic Sizes:
6″ square and 1/4″ thick with lugs*
6″ square and 3/16″ thick without lugs
4.25″ square and 1/4″ thick with lugs
4.25″ square and 3/16″ thick without lugs
7.875″ square and 1/4″ thick without lugs

Glass Tile: 6″ square smooth glass with 4 bumper feet

*The Satin tile is a semi-gloss finish (midway between Matte and Gloss). It has an absence of shine but is very elegant.

** lugged tiles are self spacing. Each tile has two little ‘nubs’ on each side of the tile which, when placed adjacent to one another, keep the tiles a consistent distance apart. Lugged tiles are used in backsplashes etc. and are NOT available framed or with a backing, while the non lugged tiles are better suited as display tiles on a miniature easel or framed.

Backing: The tile sizes without lugs can be (a) framed, (b) mounted on an easel back (c) no backing (plain tile) while the tiles with lugs will always be shipped as a plain tile (no backing).

Picture 2 shows the tile in a Rosewood Frame but is only available for the 6" tile. Picture 3 shows the back of the frame (7.75" square, Read to Hang and with furniture bumpers). Picture 4 shows the tile easel back and is only available for the 6" tile (1/16" thick cardboard, black matte finish o­n back. Folding easel stand and 1 sawtooth hanger attached).

The designs on our tiles are flat; there are no raised surfaces nor should our tiles be displayed in direct sunlight.

Watermarks: If it needs to be said, all of our tiles are shipped without the watermarks.

We list only single tiles due to complications with the Etsy shipping module. If you would like to purchase moe than one tile of the same design or would like to know exactly how much the shipping would be please ask for a SPECIAL LISTING (include which tile(s) you wish to purchase and your Zip or Postal Code). The Etsy Shipping module is not sophisticated. We charge for the heaviest tile (7.875" square) and the 6" Framed Tile but will refund for all other tiles.
