Specifications

6 Feet: Cloth Covered Twisted Wire - Black Cotton Thread (16ga), Vintage Style Fabric Lamp Cord
- Top Quality Electrical Supplies For Your Restoration or Handmade Lighting, Lamps, DIY Pendants, etc -

*****This listing is for a 6' piece, but all wire is available in any length you need. Multiples orders will be sent as one length (ie: order two for a 12' piece etc. There's a separate listing for a 25 foot length with a discount, or convo me for a custom length. See my shop "Snake Head Vintage" for many many more options and items!*****

(Note: this cord is 16 gauge, slightly larger than our regular 18 gauge lamp cord)

The perfect addition to any lamp or small appliance such as fans and radios, this beautiful fabric covered electrical wire is a great way to replicate that vintage industrial age charm.

This is BRAND NEW, antique style 2-wire, 16 gauge (known as 16/2). Each wire is a stranded copper insulated wire (much like standard wiring of today) then covered in a braided cotton fabric. The fabric is soft and colorful, similar to old cloth covered wiring. A simple rewiring can really breathe new life into an old fixture, if you're unsure of how to do it there are many step by step instructions and videos that can be found online, it's easier than you think! Or use it to make you own custom lamps, pendants, desktop lights... you get the idea!

General pricing is $1.75 per foot, with a $3 discount for every 25 feet ordered, bulk requests welcomed.

Plug is NOT included in this price, but available separately in my shop "Plugs" section.
