Constructed of hardwood "logs", which are hand cut and stacked in an interlocking pattern, then glued and nailed, this custom built beauty is specifically designed for the needs of a young and growing family. The roof structure is built of solid poplar, covered with hand split cedar shakes, and, along with the rest of the exterior, is finished in the grand tradition of a weathered log cabin.

This model also features a spacious covered front porch for outdoor enjoyment even on rainy days. Also included, is a rocking chair for those quiet, lazy evenings, after coming home from a hard day of gathering seeds and insects for the family. Why work so hard building your nest in some tree, only to be subject to wind, rain, and those pesky predators, not to mention nosey neighbors, when you can move right into this comfortable, solidly built home, and have a real roof over your head?

Unlike those enticingly low priced "log home packages", which are delivered in boxes and require on site construction, this is a hand crafted, solidly built home that is ready for occupancy the day it arrives. Just bring your own comfy twigs.

Designed and built by a licensed Certified General Contractor, this home is constructed to be in conformity with all known local, state, and national building codes governing the construction of single family birdhouses. Indeed, there are features, such as the genuine Lexan windows, that far exceed the minimum standards of any such codes. And, that's not all...

Interior features include a convenient single story floor plan with a spacious "great room", complete with soaring cathedral ceilings, perfect for those times when you just feel like "spreading your wings". And, if you act now, we will include a stack of firewood, although, for reasons that should be obvious, fires are NOT recommended. Oh, and for convenient spring cleaning, the roof is removable by loosening 2 screws.

Truly the best “birdhouse” I’ve bought. Rather, it’s a piece of art, and I’m treating it as such. Built by a contractor, it’s built as a true cabin. But the cabin touches are what makes it. I’m in love with the rocking chair! Great communication from this lovely seller.
