This gel stain is wonderful! It went on very easily with the applicator pad. The end result is exactly what I wanted. I do recommend waiting the 6 hours between coats to ensure the color does get darker. I did one second coat after 3 hours and it didn’t darken nearly as much as the 6 hour wait. The gel doesn’t splatter so I didn’t even need the drop cloth I put down. I got the walnut color. The photo is the before (top) and after (bottom). It worked great on the 90s yellow oak!

This product is great, took me a moment to get the hang of applying it - I also found letting it dry between coats was definitely needed. A little of this product goes a long way! I finished a table top for my son, came out beautiful. I plan on using it again on another project. Also shipping was fast!
