How do I know the right size bead to order?

Dreadlock beads are sorted by hole size diameter. Measure across the dread to work out how thick your dreads are. We suggest buying beads that are slightly smaller than your dread measurement so the beads stay nicely in place.

There are Small, Medium and Large bead categories so you can search by hole size as well.

Small | 4mm - 6mm
Medium | 7mm - 10mm
Large | 11mm - 18mm

Often people have quite a few different sized dreads. We offer some mixed lot dread beads which can have a variety of sizes, but if you don't see what you'd like, get in touch and we'll be happy to make up a custom mix of beads for you.
