This is my latest polyhedron cremation urn, the 'Octahedron". It is a unique geometric design that holds ashes of up to a 65-pound loved one. It is made from the finest woods selected for strength, beauty and stability to honor the memory of your loved one. The interior is sealed with shellac and the exterior is finished with water based lacquer polished and buffed to a beautiful sheen. The base is removed/attached using three brass screws for a nice secure closure.

I make one other sizes appropriate for adult humans.

The finish I use is a water based KEM-AQUA from Sherwin Williams. I often use paste wax with steel wool to make the piece feel better to the touch and to bring out the sheen.
Very little care if any is necessary aside from removing dust occasionally. You can use an air canister if you like. You may also use any wax type of polish to bring out the sheen. If alcohol or a chemical gets on the piece, wipe off immediately. Letting a chemical sit will ruin the finish.
The leather lining, I use is a synthetic suede called Ultrasuede. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

When I received this my jaw dropped! This is a stunning piece of woodwork. The finish is spectacular I had the marblewood version and it has this beautiful depth from the finish and the wood grain that makes it look almost three-dimensional. My late wife's ashes will be housed in this and I think she would be thrilled!
