Being long but super lightweight, these earrings can be a great every-day kind of earring. They work with so many looks and the style is classic. They're made of all 16 gauge sterling silver, all hammered, including the drops and the ring. Both the drops and the hooks have been soldered closed so that they will never open up. They've been stamped "STELZER" and "STERLING" on the backs. They're available in oxidized that's been steel-wooled (worn in 2nd thumbnail) and traditional sterling that's been lightly buffed. The last thumbnail shows the difference between the two. 20ga. sterling silver hooks.
