About this item
Necklace with whale in openwork, hammered and flame-oxidized copper plate.
The silhouette is taken from a plate from the first edition of Moby Dick - A call to nature and the sea depths.
It is made with original gears from early 1900s pocket watches.
The whale bears the marks of time; I've added some vintage clockwork gears to represent the dreamlike world it moves through. The anchor is made of bronze.
It is slightly concave.

The chain is made of brass and measures 80 cm (the length can be varied upon request).
In addition to the classic version, a version with a chain and silver anchor is also available.
It is a unique and original object.
