STORY

This piece is made with REAL algae collected from Nova Scotian waters.

All algae specimens are unique and hand-collected either on the shore, in the surf, or while diving. I NEVER pull seaweed off of rocks or the seabed; all specimens are already dislodged when I collect them. I choose the most beautiful pieces from the Northwest Atlantic Ocean to bring home where I carefully press each one onto water colour paper.

This piece would make a beautiful addition to any sea-themed room/home, or can serve as a collection item if you collect specimens. These pressings can be framed in your home to bring the dynamic, powerful, inspiring essence of the sea into your everyday life. They can also add a wonderful touch to any business or office, such as spa centres and marine-related businesses.

SHIPPING

- I make every effort to avoid plastic packaging where I can. The clear sleeve that your print is packaged in is compostable*!
- Prints are shipped in an envelope with a rigid backing for optimal protection during transit.
- All prints are shipped via Canada Post, unless otherwise specified.
- You will receive an e-mail once your package has been shipped (processing time varies, please see "Delivery and Return Policies")
- Tracking, if available, will be noted in the dispatch e-mail. Please contact me via Etsy chat if you are unable to find your shipping details.
