Do you guarantee delivery dates?

Hi, no, we don’t. No seller really can. All we can do is ship in the timeframe and method chosen for your order. We have no control over carriers.

I will ship the item 1-3 business days from when I receive payment. I ship USPS First Class (2-5 days) and tracking is included in the cost. There is an option to upgrade to Priority. I would highly recommend doing this during the Christmas season. It takes 2-3 days to arrive. For international sales, the buyer is responsible to know what rules and regulation their country has for shipping jewelry through customs. The customer is responsible for all duties, taxes, levies, and other applicable fees for their purchase. Also be aware that delivery time varies and may take over a month to receive in some cases. This includes VAT charges which are the buyers responsibility to be aware of and to pay for.

Materials: Silver

This is a signet sterling silver ring with Eating Disorder Recovery symbol. Sizes S (5-5.5) M ( 6-6.5) L (7-7.5) band width 2mm. Symbol length 8-9mm. I make all my pieces using recycled and refined sterling silver.
Please let me know your exact size and I will stretch the ring to fit.

I also oxidize the rings for decorative purposes.

Oxidation:

A piece of blackened or oxidized silver is true sterling silver, but it’s surface has been intentionally darkened through by introducing it to a chemical process. This patina, a surface color that occurs when the silver is introduced to sulfides, is a sped up version of the natural tarnishing process. A layer of silver sulfide forms on the exterior of the metal giving it a blackened look.

A quick aside: The term oxidizing is a misnomer since the process is caused by the introduction of sulfides and not oxygen. But nevertheless, the industry terminology has stuck although it’s not technically correct.

When sterling silver is dipped into special solution – black oxide film is formed, giving the metal a black/gray surface color. The entire piece is darkened, but then the raised parts are polished back to silver color, thereby leaving a nice contrast between the raised and lowered parts (crevices) of the piece of jewelry.
Like other patinas, oxidized silver is just a surface treatment and does not change the internal color or properties of the metal.

All of the products at my shop are cast in small batches (5-7 pieces) and individually hand finished. So they are one of a kind creations and not factory manufactured. As a result products will have variations from one piece to the next, caused by variations in the sterling silver as well as the hand crafting.
The images, descriptions and measurements you will find in the description have been used to best portray the products I sell. The pieces you receive are at least 99% similar to the pictures. The slight differences might show in the color of oxidation of imperfections of the castings.
