Tin is the traditional tenth anniversary metal, and there's a reason it gets used for cufflinks more than almost anything else - it's light, it doesn't tarnish, and it takes a hammered finish beautifully. These beaten square tin cufflinks are designed to be worn and used, not boxed up and forgotten.

Each cufflink is hand-cut from a small square of pure tin and then beaten with a hammer to give the face a textured, light-catching surface. No two squares come out exactly the same - the marks of the hammer become the design. The reverse is filed smooth and fitted with a sturdy swivel-bar back that slides easily into shirt cuffs and stays in place through a long day.

This is a quiet, well-made tenth anniversary gift for the husband who'd rather have something he can wear at work or to a wedding than another novelty mug. It also makes a nice tin-themed gift for a tenth birthday in any other context, or just as a present for someone who appreciates handmade things.
