This pretty vintage petticoat dates from c.1900. It's made crisp fine white cotton. This has a drawstring waistband with a cotton tape drawstring. It's more gathered at the back than the front. At the hem is a slightly gathered ruffle of pretty, machine embroidered eyelet trim 4" wide.

The condition is good but not perfect It's being offered AS IS for study, costuming or restoration. There is an original inked laundry mark on the waistband. I noted an L shaped repair, and a small gap at the bottom of the placket, center back. The drawstring is slightly yellowed. I noted a few specks and a small mark. It looks nice and has been freshly laundered and pressed.

Plenty of prairie charm! Ideal for reenactment wear or just summer wear!
