This dress pattern is inspired by medieval fantasy. It features vertical panels that flare gently from the waist. The dress fastens at the centre front in the style of a kimono, creating a deep V-neckline.

The dress pattern also features a design inspired by kimono sleeves. The sleeve has a Western-style cut along the arm and flares at the cuff, creating a pointed design. The lining is visible, allowing for a color-blocking effect.
The dress is fully lined.

I adore this pattern!! Do note that if you're printing it at home, it does take a long time to assemble – over 70 A4 pages, so a LOT of trimming and taping. But when it comes to the sewing, it's a very easy dress to make and the final product is a beautiful, well-fitted and flowy dress. I made an unlined one out of a test fabric and then made a few small tweaks to the pattern so that it could be perfect for a cosplay (a higher neckline and I only stitched one sleeve back)

The dress turned out wonderfully. Pattern was fairly easy to follow along. It was a *lot* of fabric, fortunately I sourced all of mine from bedsheets at the thrift store.

6 stars!! i LOVE this pattern. the dress itself is SO easy to sew; i made one for my sister and then ended up sewing 2 more this weekend because i had so much fun and had enough fabric on hand. This was one of the easiest patterns that i’ve purchased on etsy. Pattern prep and adding seam allowance took the longest, but that’s mostly because i’m particular about lining up the patterns and spend ~2 minutes a page between trimming and taping. IMO it’s worth it to spend this time!! i’ve already made a few ‘alternate’ versions where i’ve added length to the back to add drama and i think my next version will incorporate godets for MAXIMUM volume but this pattern is an instant favorite for me. pic of the first muslin sample. 10/10. A+. Beautiful work. Will be prioritizing this shop for future pattern needs!! thank you!! ⭐️
