Want to carve an alder wand? Here are some good choices of dried alder wood sticks. You will receive one stick, that you choose in the drop down list. This sound, strong dry wood came from trees recently damaged by winter storms, or thinned from my own property. No dead or decaying wood is used.

#1 is 15" long, 3/4" thick, almost straight, 3 eyes.

#2 is 15" long, 5/8" thick, with 4 large eyes and a slight curve near tip.

#3 is 14" long, 3/4" thick, straight with 4 eyes.

#4 is 14" long, 3/4" thick, straight with 3 small eyes.

#5 is a hefty 14" long, 1.5" thick with oval shape, straight, one big eye.

#6 is 13" long, 7/8" thick, 3 big eyes, almost straight.

#7 is 11" long, 1.25" thick, oval shape, lightweight for its size, slight curve.

#8 is a stang, 14.5" long, 3/8" thick, light and airy, bend in the middle, 4.5" wide fork

#9 is a stang, or forked stick, 12" long, 5/8" thick, curvy with narrow long fork.
