----DESCRIPTION----

The Wick is the MOST IMPORTANT Part of the Candle!

There is no way around it. You have to test, test, test, test, test and retest your candles to make sure you have the perfect wick. Not only is finding the correct wick important, the placement of the wick can have just as much effect on your end result. A candle wick that is too far off center will leave wax on one side of your jar while overheating the other side of the jar, sometimes to the point of breaking!

And then there are the multi-wick candles, the love of my life and bane of my existence! Ok that’s probably a little dramatic but they will definitely give you a run for your money. Not only do you have to choose the right type of wicks but you also have to choose the right PLACEMENT of each wick. The distance between wicks in a multi-wick candle matter. Too close or too far could drown out your wicks, make them burn too hot, etc.

There are a ton of wicks to choose from to make the perfect candle but I could never find a good wick placement guide so I created my own and have used them for many years.

I hope you find these as useful as I have and HAPPY CANDLE MAKING!!!
