This is the color tool I bought to learn about color in regard to quilting/fabric. I brought it home and read through it, which gave me some great information on color. The MOST IMPORTANT thing I learned was to separate my grey toned fabric from all the rest. "All the rest" is my favorite fabric and that is what I have been making quilts with. Basically I have always been afraid of picking my own fabrics and for this reason I use precuts. But I have a lot of "left over" fabric at home and I wanted to start making quilts with it.
