Why can't I track my item?

Tracked services cost extra and can be purchased when completing checkout. Some of our items are automatically sent via a tracked service (see our delivery profile for details). If you have not paid for a tracked method, then the number added to your order details is a customs declaration form number and acts as your proof of postage.

All items with a value of less than £15 are sent by standard mail. THIS IS NOT A SIGNED FOR SERVICE and therefore you will receive no tracking information. Orders of £15 or more are automatically sent via a tracked method (WITHIN THE UK ONLY) and thus these orders will receive a tracking number. If you have a low value order and wish us to send your item via a tracked method please add this upgrade to your order when completing checkout. If you cannot find this option please contact us and we can arrange this for you. If you have not paid for a tracked service but you see a number added to your order details THIS IS NOT A TRACKING NUMBER. This is the code taken from your customs declaration form and is proof of postage.

We use fibre reactive dye which means that your item will be machine washable and your colours won't fade. We are happy to take requests for custom designs. You can have any tie dye design made in any colours that you like on any item in any size! A 40% non refundable deposit is required on all custom orders to cover our costs. Tie Dye is an art form. No two items are ever the same. This reflects their handmade qualities and is in no way to be considered a defect.

Procion MX fibre-reactive cold water dyes are the best dyes available for all cellulose fibres (Plant fibres) including cotton, rayon, linen, hemp, flax, paper, reeds and wood. They are used for tie dye, vat dyeing, graduation dyeing, printing, sponging, hand painting, shibori, wax batik, splatter painting and more. The colours are very concentrated and are all intermixable so you can easily create your own range of colours.

PLEASE NOTE: printed instructions do not come with these dyes. We include basic information below on how to mix.

Procion dyes require Soda Ash to fix the colour on to the fabric. Available to purchase in our Etsy store.

10g of powder dye will produce approximately 1 litre of dye (for black we recommend using three times this weight of dye to achieve the best results). To mix simply add water to the powder dye and mix until the powder is thoroughly dissolved.

You can also make pastel dye colours by simply adding more water to liquid dye. This can stretch as far as to make 10 litres from 10g. For best results mix full colour and experiment by gradually adding water and testing your colour.

Dye fixing time 6-72 hours.

Please be aware that Procion will not work at all on synthetics such as polyester and will only dye protein fibres such as wool and silk to very pale shades. You can find a lot of information on the internet about alternative methods with procion dyes. They are very versatile and there are many ways they can be used. You will need household salt and a fixative (Soda ash).

You do need to be aware that the colours of the dyes as represented in our ebay shop can only be an approximation. As with all dyes the colour achieved is dependant on the colour you are dyeing on top of and the type of fabric you are dyeing. I would also strongly recommend that if you are new to dyeing it may be best to have a trial dye session before dyeing anything valuable and it is important to be aware that when dyeing pre-manufactured clothing there is always a slight risk because you can never be sure what chemicals the manufacturer has used to coat the fabrics and how this will effect dye absorption.

To start with we recommend you purchase: Lemon Yellow, Fuchsia Red & Turquoise. These three colours will give you a vast array of brights

Powder dye comes packaged in a zip lock plastic bag. If you order multiple quantities of the same colour, we will package them in one bag, to save plastics. Please let us know if you need it as separate bags.
