My Rockerbilia shoe shaker series wouldn't be complete without a pair of nineteen seventies platform boots and arguably the most iconic-Ziggy Stardust's red patent leather platform boots!I modelled these originally in clay and kept to the same scale as all my other shoes in this series but the length and shape of the knee length boot has lent itself to be quite a practical shape for a shaker set!The bright red underglaze is almost the exact same shade as the original pair Bowie wore and the shiny glaze top coat adds to the patent leather realism.
