I wanted to give my sister three special figurines from our childhood, but all these hands can make is a mess, so that's how I ended up on Etsy. I'm also a paranoid buyer, so I must have looked at almost every sculptor on here. Flora's shop had some of the most reasonable prices, but also very consistent quality (and variety of options). Responses were timely, little details were remembered, and the little guys arrived on time in a slightly decorated and perfumed box. When I think about it, the characters from anime and video games we love probably were not designed with the best intentions. They can be too gratifying, too flimsy and unreal. Still, when I received Flora's sculptures, and this is what I realize drew me to her shop in the first place, was how much her work is imbued with a real warmth and soul.
