Original vintage design from 1932/33 1932; 1932 Two-Piece Summer Sports Pants Dress

Sports pants dress with over skirt and short sleeves. Yoke features layered or tuck detail with buttons that correspond with overskirt.

I am fortunate enough to have a collection of old German pattern magazines from the 1920s and 30s and I am in the process of reproducing the gorgeous designs off the pattern sheets included with these magazines. The patterns have been carefully line on line traced from these sheets together with any notes then digitally drawn up.

Unlike modern patterns, these lovely old patterns rarely come with instructions and this one does not have any specific construction instructions. You will need sewing skills and an understanding of garment construction. Note that if facings are required you will need to draft these from the main pattern pieces.

To help you, I have included a copy of an original 47 page 1930's Singer sewing techniques book.

The pattern pieces have been formatted into both A4 print at home tiles and full size A0 sheets that can be taken to a printers.

The A4 file has 35 pages that tile together, you just print and cut them out and tape them together.

The pattern pieces on the full size file fit on two A0 sheets.
