I've just made the small one and am getting ready to make the medium sized one. Instructions were overall fairly clear - the pictures really helped, although I do note they didn't always match my work, which I think was due to changes in how the different pattern sizes go together. I'm only a very beginner sewist and I was able to create this easily enough, so I think the difficulty level is accurate. Can I say though, do leave quite a big gap at the bottom of the lining. I messed up, mine was only maybe 5cm, not 5inches wide, and I needed to rip it open to do that last piece of magic in assembling the bag.

This was the first sewing pattern/tutorial I ever followed and I am very pleased with how my bag turned out! The instructions were very clear and the tips were helpful. The only very, very minor niggle I have is that I as a European would have preferred seeing the measurements in metric units as well, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment of the project and I will definitely be using this tutorial again in the future when I get bored with my current bag :D
