Here are some descriptions for how I measure items: CB (center back) Measured from base of collar back to hem CF (center front) Measured from base of collar front to hem Pit to Pit (chest size) armpit to armpit in back of garment; doubled to get chest size. For an item that is difficult to get a true chest measurement (open front/back) I will measure from CF under armpits, to CB and back to the CF. Shoulders are measured from left shoulder seam to right shoulder seam, or where this point would be if there is no seam there. Neck/collar- Measured around neck Mens shirts may be measured like (15x32) 15 is the inside neck measurement and the 32 is from CB neck across shoulder and down the sleeve. This is how shirts for men are measured.
