Many times the size labels on vintage garments are illegible; have been lost over time or simply, never existed. But I always measure garments flat on the table and include these measurements below the description of the item. All vertical measurements, like a garment's overall length are true as listed; while all horizontal measurements such as, a garment's sweep (the measurement across its hem) must be doubled to know the actual circumference. If you still have questions, just send me a conversation and I will get back to you as soon as I can, usually within 24 hours.

Often the care labels on vintage garments are illegible; have been lost over time or never existed to begin with, since they weren't required by U.S. law until 1972. I will always state whether a label is present within the description of the item. If indeed, no care label exists for a particular item; I will give you my educated opinion on what I believe its fiber content to be; as well as the safest mode of cleaning the garment based on the determined fiber content, fabric finish and construction method used. Vintage 1960s Pink Plaid New Fashion Creations Dress; Slim Shirt Dress with : NWT Shift Shirt Dress; Long Sleeve Career Dress.

The dress features classic shirtdress styling in a shift silhouette. The choice of fabric is fun and refreshing - a broken stripe abstract plaid in shades of pink with orange accents. The fabric is easy to care for and ahead of its time for the 1960s in a DuPont Dacron Polyester and combed cotton blend called Angel Skin by Klopman.

The dress features a collar; long sleeves with elasticated hems; a darted bodice and a slim shift silhouette.

The garment fastens with five (5) dyed to match buttons on its front placket and a 7/8th inch wide self fabric tie belt. The dress is not lined.

The label reads; Size 13/14. 80% Dacron Polyester, 20% Combed Cotton. Made in USA(?).
