I always wash silk by hand in cold water, the same applies to cashmere and wool.

Most of the items do not need dry cleaning (even though the label sometimes says so) and it's a great way of saving money.

I do recommend dry cleaning for coats of course.

The size labels on vintage clothes give little information as the sizing has changed a lot, as well as the cut of clothes.

I always send via registered mail so the package will be tracked and registered (this usually means that you have to sign to get it but the exact way of delivery to you in your country depends on your local postal services, so it might differ from place to place).

If you are returning an item from outside the European Union and have contacted us beforehand, please ensure you mark 'RETURNED GOODS' clearly somewhere on the parcel and on the customs form, otherwise we will have to refuse the parcel due to undue customs fees.
