For international buyers, will customs taxes be collected when I receive my order?

For my international customers, please note that Import duties, and VAT taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping fees. These charges may be imposed and collected by your country, and are the buyer's responsibility to pay, on receipt of the order. I also cannot declare that a purchase is a gift on a customs form. This is a federal offense in the US and carries severe penalties.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Although I don't offer gift wrapping, my prints are sandwiched between cardboard and wrapped in colorful tissue paper. I'd also be happy to include a notecard with your special message, at no additional cost. Just let me know the message you'd like included in "note to seller" at checkout.

Does Lighthearted Dreamer offer refunds or exchanges?

Customer satisfaction is my number one priority! If you're dissatisfied with your print or original artwork, please notify me as soon as you receive your order. I'll make every attempt to ensure that you're happy with your purchase. For a refund of original paintings, the artwork must be returned to me. Your refund will be issued when I receive the painting. Due to the nature of digital downloads, I'm unable to offer refunds or exchanges for these purchases. Please note that prints cannot be exchanged, as I would never re-issue a print to another customer. But in the unlikely event that your print is damaged in shipping, I will send you another print at my expense.

Will the colors on the screen be exactly the same as in my print or painting?

While I try my best to accurately represent the true colors in my work, there will always be color variation from one screen to another. So the picture that you see, might be slightly different from the actual print or original painting.

I ordered this for a secret Santa gift. It was a hit. The artist also included a blank card that she had painted a cardinal on. Little did I know that the person receiving the gift has a personal story that make her remember her late father when seeing cardinals. This made her day.
