William Morris Lampshades, handmade fabric shades. Three options offered here from this Classic 19th century collection. Trellis designed in 1864, one of Morris's first wallpaper designs. Willow Bough(Green) designed in 1887 and Eyebright (blue) designed in 1883. We have a whole range of other William Morris shades on our Etsy shop - see the William Morris section.

For ceiling lampshades or a standard / table lampshade, either with a 40cm, 30cm or 20cm diameter.

3 Options:
Trellis - Light brown Trellis with dark blue birds and red flowers
Willow Bough - Green willow leaf motif on cream background (Blue version also available in our shop)
Eyebright - White and air force blue motifs on navy background

(On Sale - we also have a section of our Etsy shop where we offer shades at a reduced price - these are either the end of a fabric range or one-offs we have already made up - we work from home and have very little storage space!)

We make these lampshades to order and usually would hope to ship within 2/5 business days of receiving your order at maximum. The sizes available are as following:

40cm x 25cm (diameter, height)
30cm x 21cm
20cm x 18 cm

(All available as either Ceiling shade or standard / table lampshade)

We also offer diffusers for sale with all our ceiling lampshades. Made from translucent polypropylene, they let the light through without being transparent. They shield the glow of the bulb from the eye, allowing the shade itself to be seen more clearly by diffusing the light. They are particularly useful for ceiling lights where the bulb is very visible. (More details and photos in separate shop section - lampshade diffusers)

Each lampshade is unique with rolled edges and a single seam. It's not always possible to pattern match at the seam due to pattern placement.

Each lampshade is backed with fire retardant pvc which has passed the glow wire test conducted by the Lighting Association.

Low energy bulbs are recommended for use as they will prevent scorching, use less energy and are therefore cheaper and better for the environment!

Lampshades will be shipped using Royal Mail Standard Delivery and will be bubble wrapped.

The lampshade includes an adaptor making it suitable either for a standard 28mm British fitting or for a 40mm European fitting.

These beautiful William Morris shades were well packaged with a lovely design and arrived promptly. Perfect for our conservatory - we wanted something different from spotlights for the new solid roof
