Thread Catcher Scrap Caddy & Pin Cushion Silver Charms Sewing Theme.

A Sewing Themed Thread Catcher or Scrap Caddy handmade by me in my Sewing Room at home in Nottinghamshire. Embellished with Tibetan Silver Charms to make it extra special and decorative, as well as functional.

These scrap caddies are brilliant and so useful. I bought myself one on holiday in the USA and use it all the time to drop in scraps of fabric and the threads I snip off, as I'm sewing.

They are ideal whatever you are doing - be it sewing, knitting, papercraft, scrapbooking or any time you would like a small rubbish bin beside you. I use one for dropping in scraps and threads and a second one to hold the tools I use most, such as scissors, fabric markers and anything else that I lose the second I let go of it!!

All materials are new, and I have embellished the the pin cushion and hanger with Tibetan silver charms - a pair of scissors, a tiny flower which has the words 'Hand Made' on it, and also a vintage sewing machine. The charms are stitched on, with a dab of clear glue underneath, to stop them moving about.

The fabric for each thread catcher is fussy cut, to ensure optimal positioning of the sewing prints on the finished item.

The top section is a pin cushion, and also a counterbalance weight, to stop the caddy falling off the end of your table, when full of scraps. You can put a surprising amount of weight into the caddy, and it still doesn't drop off!

The pin cushion contains a pouch of play sand, which is both the weight, and will sharpen your pins or needles when you push them into it.

There is a rectangle of non-slip mesh stitched to the underside of the pin cushion, which helps it grip onto the surface that you have hung it off.

I put a great deal of time and care into everything I make, and each caddy takes several hours to make, as I want to make sure they are finished to a high standard and will last for a long time.

If your item has been made to your special instructions, or is personalised, I regret that I cannot accept returns, but I will be happy to exchange non-personalised items for another item of the same value, providing that the initial purchase is returned to me in perfect condition.

For anything that you have bought as it was listed, I am happy to provide a 100% refund, providing the item is returned to me in perfect condition and within 14 days.

The Buyer is responsible for return postage.
