About the artist:
Myka Jelina is a fantasy artist living in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks. Her paintings are easily recognized by their eclectic fairies, glossy eyed beauties poised in intricate scenes of Gothic, modern and classical adornment.

Myka's artwork draws from the delicate relationships between light, darkness, beauty and balance.
Myka is a painter in the traditional sense, whose favorite painting mediums are acrylic paints and wooden panels.

Myka had been selling her paintings online for a couple years when in 2005 the clever, bright eyed faeries began fluttering into places like Hot Topic, Target, Spencer Gifts, Hastings and mom and pop shops worldwide. In recent years her fairy artwork can be found on a myriad of products including collectable figurines, canvas reproductions and many, many others.

There’s never anything else to say except BEAUTIFUL. Myka is not only an insanely gifted artist with a limitless imagination and incredible amount of skill, she puts extra love and passion into every single product that carries her artwork, and I deeply appreciate it. She wants people to be in love with her art as much as she is. She’s been an inspiration and she always makes an effort to connect with me on a personal level. If there’s something you want that she hasn’t made, she will do her best and almost always says she will make it happen. She’s awesome. I have a secret wish that she will teach a class someday because I’d love to learn from her.
