Items may be pinned to dress form to show the shape of the clothing better. All measurements of vintage items are taken when item is flat, please double measurement to get circumference. Please measure yourself AND clothing that fits you well to figure out if this item will fit you. You may also want to measure a vintage dress (non-stretchy) that fits you well to compare measurements with a dress you'd like to purchase.

*Vintage clothing is often very old and may be delicate, we do our best to describe flaws however we may miss small flaws. Vintage clothing is sold "As-Is" due to many small/minor imperfections that may require your attention upon purchase.
•Most vintage items are at least 20+ years old and in previously worn condition, which means that times may have a "vintage" scent, and show visible signs of wear or aging. Please do not expect them to be new. To most, "vintage" implies "special" and "imperfect" but also "very beautiful."
*Be prepared to launder/dry clean, press/iron, clip threads, mend a seam, re-stitch a hem etc. We do NOT automatically dry clean all items, do not expect item to be dry-cleaned unless explicitly stated.

• Our packaging may use second hand boxes, reused bags, recycled materials, etc. in an attempt to recycle. Please let us know if you need alternate shipping materials....for example, if this item is a gift we can provide simple, attractive packaging!
• Combined Shipping— please ask beforehand, we’ll do it whenever possible to save you money!

If you are short of funds but have found that 'special' item, a layaway plan can be arranged. Basic terms are 50% down - nonrefundable to hold the item. The balance must be paid off within one month (unless prior arrangements have been made) or the entire payment will be forfeited. We prefer to set it up with no more than three additional payments (this may negotiable, please contact me). Once the item is completely paid for, it will be shipped. There is a 5% additional charge for layaways, and coupons may not be used with a layaway plan. Should you wish to use the layaway plan, contact us before making the purchase so that layaway payment dates can be arranged. The minimum purchase amount on a layaway is $100.

Please note that you must pay the agreed amount on the date set or your payments thus far will be considered forfeit and the item may be posted for resale. Be sure that you have good communication skills if you choose the layaway route...we are reasonable and open to negotiation, so long as you communicate the situation.

We try to ship out in one to two business days. WE DO NOT SHIP TO THAILAND.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING: For single items purchased, we generally ship via USPS first class, Priority Mail, Flat Rate envelopes for smaller items within the USA. These USPS PM Flat Rate envelopes will automatically include delivery confirmation w/ tracking # and insurance via USPS (usually up to $50).
-If you purchase Multiple Items or Larger/Bulkier items (ex. dresses w/ crinolines), we may need to ship in a less expensive way to keep costs down, and that may not allow for us to purchase insurance for you item. If you don't CONTACT US IN ADVANCE we assume that this is fine with you.

*EXCELLENT
Appears pre-owned & gently worn with no readily apparent significant major flaws.

*VERY GOOD
Standard wear for its age such as distressed denim, minor fade, scuffs/nicks on shoes, or faint shadow stains on the fabric or accessory. Minor flaws such as these don't distract from the overall wearability of the item, or are easily fixed/sewn (ex. seam or hem needs reinforcing, bit of deodorant needs cleaning underneath the arm pit).

*GOOD
Item has noticeable signs of living through the ages: moderate color fading, stains larger than 1", multiple loose seams throughout, small holes or fabric snags. Probably not a candidate for the picky shopper, but wearable for the rest of us. Such flaws are either repairable or wearable as purchased.These flaws are usually not seen at night when the dress goes dancing!
*FAIR
This item may contain more significant flaws: a rip/holes in the fabric, noticeable/major fading, stains, water marks etc. that will require a skilled seamstress or artist to re-purpose.

-Shipping charges are APPROXIMATE. If shipping is cheaper then stated I will refund you the difference. we would suggest USPS International Shipping First Class Mail to save costs. Although First Class Mail does not allow the purchase of insurance to cover lost items, additional insurance on the item WILL be purchased via Etsy system for you. A tracking number will appear in your shipping info, however, this tracking number only works in the USA, once the package leaves the USA that number becomes your "customs code" (you will need that number to pick up your package from your customs department. We are not responsible for custom fees or taxes or lost or stolen items.

- Also, if you request it in advance, we can ship via Priority Mail envelope or box. Although we've found this option to be rather expensive we like the insurance and tracking that is offered! The tracking code will follow your package out of the USA and into your country which is very helpful.
-PLEASE NOTE; We assume that international customers prefer the cheaper shipping via First Class mail, and will proceed with that shipping arrangement UNLESS YOU CONTACT US IN ADVANCE to say that you want to purchase Priority Mail w/ insurance. Email us with questions.
