Red Barn Mountain Painting: Original Impressionist Oil Landscape (6x6 inch)

I spent a wonderful October morning painting this small work nestled in the hills in San Marcos, California.

This 6 x 6 inch original oil painting was completed on gessoboard and can easily be framed in any commercial photo frame of your choice.

I have included many pictures under different light and ISO stops to give you the best images possible - the images for this particular work vary with the warmth/coolness of available light, so please look at all the pictures.

Painting the the autumn light let's me play with strong colors , and using the deep jewel toners offered by a full spectrum of oil paints is my favorite way to paint! The sense of happiness and peace I felt while painting this scene is conveyed to the viewer.

The painting will arrive carefully sheltered within recycled eco-friendly packing material for secure shipping.
