This PDF is a 8-page pdf that I consider a beginner level for crochet. It is a great, easy pattern with lots of photos to help guide you.

I JUST ADDED A 2-PAGE UPDATE TO MAKE REVERSIBLE - NO SEW - NO STUFFING OCTOPI

I give full detailed instructions on how to make this small octopus. This little toy has a squeeze ball/stress ball as the stuffing in the head. If you do not have that regular stuffing will be fine.

You will only need a small amount - scraps of leftover cake yarn is what I usually use -and your G or H hook. *You can also use this pattern with some of the newer blanket jumbo yarns on the market. Just use the appropriate hook size.

Single Crochet: SC
Inc Sc: make two single crochet stitches in the same stitch as indicated
Invisible Decrease: inv. dec. – this is an invisible single crochet decrease
Hdc: Half double crochet
Dc: double crochet
Tr: treble crochet
Slip Stitch: sl st
FO: finish off
