I made these lightweight earrings out of aluminum and copper. All earrings are on surgical steel hypoallergenic ear wires. Earrings come with rubber backstops.

We do not coat our jewelry with any lacquer or other chemicals so the metals on this comb will tend to tarnish over time but can be polished up with any silver, brass, or copper cleaner. Also an old tooth brush and some toothpaste can do just as well. You can also just leave the piece alone and let the metals fade to softer tones.

I was looking for a gift for my son who just finished earning his master's degree but I wanted something personal that he would enjoy. This copper hammered cuff bracelet is very cool and masculine. I had it engraved on the inside with a funny quip I often tell him: Our favorite youngest son. He loved it, we love it and it came incredibly fast which was just in time for the ceremony and celebrations. April and Chaum included a sweet personal note and instructions on care of the cuff. This is my second purchase of this item. I lost my first bracelet which I believe got hooked on my coat sleeve when I pulled it off in a parking lot. My only hope is that someone who needed it more than me found it and loves it as much as I did. That said, I was happy to receive this replacement. I read the suggestions provided in the ad in regard to cleaning the bracelet. I had tried those on the bracelet I lost, but wasn't happy with the results. Instead, I found that Rolite's Midas Touch metal polishing cream followed with a jewelry polishing cloth made my bracelet look new again. When the patina started to reappear, instead of looking like a dirty penny it took on a beautiful dark rich hue...and then I lost my bracelet.
