This design was inspired by a piece of bobbin lace. I loved the geometry of it and I began playing around with how to interpret it in different styles of needlework. Here is the result for a blackwork pattern.

This design is intended to be stitched on evenweave or linen. It is not suitable for Aida because of the way it is charted unless you want a very large finished piece. There are stitching notes included that explain this clearly. Please feel free to be in touch with any questions you may have.
