This pattern is for The Danielle, a 1940s yoke skirt day dress
This dress is a great practical spring and summer style with a classic shirtwaist bodice, and a fun pleated front skirt detail. The sleeves can be cut into 3 different lengths, and the neckline can be done in a notch collar or collarless.

Ideal fabrics are cottons, linens, and light weight wools. Fun novelty prints as well as color blocking can make this one patter be used in infinite ways.

My goal with this pattern line was to update the sizing of period correct vintage styles for the larger person. The size range of the pattern line is 40-60 bust. Size chart above in the pictures.

The pattern consists of 2 PDFs, one of instructions and two of the pattern itself.

We still have three weeks til showtime, but we had fittings yesterday. The actress for whom I made the Danielle was so happy with her dress she wrapped me in a huge, giggling hug. She was like a little girl with a new twirly skirt! I will send photos from tech week when she is in her full 1940s style. Thank you again for doing the hard work - ESPECIALLY the math - to create these patterns.

Another great pattern from Shelley, I did tweak it a little because I wasn't sure if the peplum would suit me -so I just extended the skirt piece. Easy to follow instructions and helpful seller.
