Kids have always been excited about space, the planets, the Universe. Who hasn't shared in that little dream of becoming an astronaut?
This amazing educational puzzle was created with the idea to inspire children to learn more about our Solar System. This is a great resource to include in your homeschool environment, a Montessori (class)room or preschool/elementary school exploration of space.

The puzzle contains 13 movable parts:

- The Sun and the 8 Planets (Pluto is marked but it is not a separate puzzle part). These parts are reversible. One side has the name of the planet engraved, the other side is a bright colourful picture of it.
- 4 movable elements with small handles for ease of hold - under these elements we have hidden interesting facts about the planets, their movements, their moons and more!

This is a very bright and colourful material which presents numerous options to play and will fire the curiousity of your little learner. If you child isn't already crazy about science, they will surely be inspired by this puzzle!

Use it to: name the planets, arrange and compare them by size, play to see who will guess the correct fact hidden under a planet etc.

Nice circular calendar. Aesthetically pleasing, but a little flimsy especially for younger curious kids. I like that a spare peg is included as we are likely to loose them. It has sadly fallen/ been pulled off the wall a few times now and the circular calendar always falls off the rectangular vertical board behind it. It does slot back into place easily but as a result we now just prop the circular calendar up against the wall instead of hanging it. Thankfully the wood itself hasn’t broken at all and we still have all the pegs (so far). Our daughter loves moving the peg each morning.
