Those earrings is inspired by work of German astronomer, mathematician, and astrologer Johannes Kepler who somehow can be considered as father of sacred geometry. Shape of complex star is actually just a 2d projection of much more complex structure, called stellated dodecahedron. The earlier appearance of this shape was found in marble tarsia (inlay panel) on the floor of St. Mark's Basilica, Venice, Italy, it dates from the 15th century and is sometimes attributed to Paolo Uccello. His composition can be seen in last picture and served as actual design prototype for these earrings, it's my interpretation using contemporary thinking and technology.

They are laser cut and sanded, covered with semi-matt warnish, with silver color metal hooks. These earrings are made from 3 mm Baltic birch plywood, therefore they are sturdy, yet lightweight.

Diameter is 53 mm - approximately 2 in, total length with hooks - 73 mm - slightly less than 3 in.

Earrings will be shipped in brown paper bag, put on strong paper base in air padded envelope.

Therefore slight differences are possible. Even plywood is still wood, there could be some knots, small differences in thickness what affect cutting.
