My biggest doubt is the botanical determination of the species, I could dare to say Commiphora guillaumini or C. morondavensis, C. falcata .... since they tell me that it comes from the South of Madagascar therefore narrowing the field there can be a maximum of 5 or 6 varieties.

The resin is collected with rudimentary tools such as knives and spoons, given its complexity it is collected with parts of bark and wrapped in a large leaf forming wheels similar to small plates.
