New Diamondback Ironworks Series 1 Two Burner Gas Forge. Diamondback Ironworks has been supplying the Blacksmithing community with Commercial grade forges since 2004. With the rise of popularity in the Blacksmithing/Knifemaking craft (thanks to Forged in Fire), there has been a need for less expensive but HIGH QUALITY entry level forges for all those folks wanting to give this addictive hobby a go. These are Fabricated right alongside Diamondbacks Commercial units, using the same tools and care that go into all their Forges. Regulator and hose are included (due to supply chain issues you will receive one of the 2 regulators pictured in the listing, depending on what stock is available at the time of your order.) All you need is a tank of propane.

The Series 1 Forges use the same shell and burners as the Series 2 Forges from Diamondback Ironworks. This means that this forge can be upgraded in the future to the Series 2 specs and can use all the same accessories that are available for the Series 2 forges (Ceramic Board liners, Adjustable Work Supports and Adjustable Doors!) The Series 1 is a great inexpensive forge to start off with, and with it's modular construction it can be upgraded and grow with you. Series 2 upgrade parts are available directly from the Diamondback Ironworks website.

The Series 1 Forges use Dense Ceramic Firebrick for the floors and Ceramic Fiber Blanket for the walls and ceilings.

Forges arrive with some simple assembly required, a 1/2 wrench is all that is needed, instructions are included and Diamondback Ironworks can be contacted directly for any questions.

The Interior Dimension are 4 1/2 inches wide x 4 inches high x 13 1/2 inches long
The Exterior Dimensions are 8 1/2 inches wide x 7 1/2 inches high (to the top of the forge shell) X 13 1/2 inches long.
Overall Height is 19 1/2 to the top of the burner.
