*** This listing is for a PDF ebook English tutorial and pattern, not a physical item ****
This PDF sewing pattern is beginner friendly and quick to make. These grow with me style drop crotch pants are size adjustable so they can last longer than traditionally sized clothing. This pattern includes 5 size options: 3 - 12 months, 12 months - 3T, size 3 - 6, size 6 - 9 and size 9 - 12 (see image 3 for size chart). There are also 2 options for style: Color Blocked (with an optional pocket) or Quick and Easy (no color blocking and no pocket).
The pants have a foldable waistband and extra long ankle cuff, which can be rolled up when your little one is small, and unrolled as they grow. The pants fit loose on the low end of size range and tighter as they grow. They are also cloth diaper friendly!
This pattern is easy enough for a confident beginner to complete. Making the pattern without color blocking or pockets is the easiest version.
There are 5 files available for download with purchase, the English instructions with a full colour photo tutorial, a layered version of the Color Blocked pattern pieces, a layered version of the Quick and Easy option, a file with the smaller sizes separated by size (to save paper if you are just printing one size). These 4 files are all designed to be printed on US letter paper with 1/2" margins using Adobe Reader DC -not the mobile app- (available as a free download here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/). There is also a file with an A0 sized PDF that can be printed at a copy shop.
NOTE: OUR EXTENDED SIZING IS NOT INCLUDED IN ETSY PURCHASES. THESE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASES MADE THROUGH OUR SHOPIFY SITE.
After your purchase, Etsy will email you a link to download the files. You can also access the files through your Etsy account using an internet browser (not the app) by clicking “you” in the top right corner, “purchases and reviews” then scrolling to your order and clicking “download now”. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for Etsy to release the files (specifically seems to be when PayPal is used), but if it’s been a while since your purchase and you are having trouble accessing your files you can contact Etsy directly to sort out any download issues. Unfortunately, we don’t have the ability to release the files or re-email the download links.

How to Measure (see third picture for size ranges):
Hip/Seat Circumference: Horizontal distance around the hips/bum at the fullest part
Waist Circumference: Horizontal distance around the waist, at the point where a crease
forms if your child bends to the side.
Crotch Height: Vertical distance from center of crotch to floor (measured without shoes).
Hip Height: Vertical distance from the hip/girth line to floor/soles of the feet
Height: Vertical distance from the top of the head to the soles of the feet.
Note that the sizing of these is a bit different than the Bunny Bottoms Drop crotch pattern. The smallest two sizes are a bit smaller than the bunny bottoms smallest two sizes. If you are accustomed to the fit of the bunny bottoms, be aware that the fit of the smaller two sizes of the Color Blocked Pants will be a bit smaller.

Why Are Grow With Me Patterns so Awesome?
I love Grow with Me clothing for so many reasons! It saves you time, money, and can even help save the environment.
-Saving You Time and Money: One of the biggest reasons we love Grow with Me clothing around here is because I spend so much time making clothing for my kids, I don’t want them to outgrow it right away (especially when I really love the fabric!). This also means they will go through less clothing, saving you money!
-Selling Grow With Me Clothing: I also used to sell handmade baby clothing and I found it hard to justify charging fair prices for my work, but once I started expanding to Grow With Me sizes, it was easier for me to justify the price to my customers because they could see the value easier.
-Environmentally Sustainable: Another huge reason I love Grow with Me clothing is the sustainability factor. Kids outgrow clothing so fast! It’s not only hard on the wallet, it’s also hard on the environment. According the a post on The Guardian, if we can extend our clothing lifespan by 9 months, we can reduce our carbon footprint by 20-30%!
Grow with Me clothing can be a more environmentally friendly way to clothe our kids!
-Fits the In Between Sizes: We also love that Grow With Me clothing fits even during those odd in between size where their legs are too long for their current size, but their waist is too small for the next size up!
-Diaper Bag Essential: Grow with Me clothing also makes great diaper bag clothing! If you are anything like me and you forget to change out the clothing in your diaper bag regular, Grow with Me clothing can really save you! I keep some tester version of my patterns in the car so there is always an outfit that will fit my kids if we have a mess emergency.
