Where is your jewelry made?

Every piece is handcrafted by me in my beautiful home state of Arizona. The materials and metals I work with are ethically sourced and purchased through suppliers within the United States.

How fast can I get my order?

My turnaround for processing an order is typically one business day. Suppose for some reason I run behind on orders and need more time for processing or am taking a quick vacation. In t I will update each listing to reflect the change, so please check the specific listing you have an interest in for the most accurate processing and arrival time. • I ship via USPS Ground Advantage, which typically takes 2-5 business days for residents within the United States. International Orders: USPS First Class International Package typically takes 7–21 business days for delivery, depending on the destination country and customs processing times. * Please note: ALL fees incurred due to taxes + customs fees are due by the customer

What is the best way to reach you about any questions or concerns I may have?

The best way to reach me is through Etsy messages. Please allow one business day for a response. My hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MST Monday through Friday. Please note: If you send me a message outside of Etsy (through email, social media DM’s, etc.) it is likely I won’t see your request and will not get a chance to reply — so Etsy messages are the best bet to get ahold of me. :)

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Each piece of jewelry is not only carefully wrapped in individual Barlow Jewels drawstring cotton bags but also packaged in a poly-fill jewelry box, adding an extra layer of charm and protection. If you choose to include a gift message with your order your message will be printed and attached to your jewelry box -- ready for your recipient to open and cherish!

How do I clean my jewelry?

All fine metals tarnish with time. Regardless of your lifestyle and the care you take when wearing your jewelry, it will benefit from regular cleanings. My jewelry is meant for everyday wear and created to last. After every few wears, I suggest taking a polishing cloth to your piece to keep it nice and shiny. My favorite brand of polishing cloths is Sunshine. These cloths do a great job of removing oils, lotions, makeup, etc., and help maintain and restore shine.

How do I go about a return or exchange?

If you aren’t fully in love with your Barlow Jewels piece, I happily accept returns! Please contact me within 7 days of receiving your jewelry and ship it back within 14 days of the original delivery date. Please note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Ordered the wrong necklace length, earring size, or another option? I offer a Jewelry Exchange Service available in the Services section of my shop.

My order shows delivered, but I never received it — what now?

Once your order is shipped, it is in the hands of the United States Postal Service. If you suspect your package may be lost in transit, please get in contact with neighbors who may have accidentally received your order along with your local Post Office first as they can best assist you in recovering your lost package. If you are still not able to resolve this matter after getting in touch with USPS, please contact me and I’d be happy to assist further! I ship via USPS first-class mail, which typically takes: 2-5 business days for delivery within the U.S. 1-6 weeks for delivery outside the U.S.

I accidentally put in the wrong shipping address during checkout. Can I change my address?

I try my best to create your pieces and drop them off with USPS as soon as possible. If you find that you accidentally used the wrong shipping address, please message me immediately as I may be able to get that address switched out for you before drop-off. If you catch me after I have already dropped your order off with USPS, we will need to either wait for your order to be delivered back to me and I can then re-ship your order (this will include a $4.50 re-ship fee), or you can place a new order and when the original order gets delivered back to me I can then issue a refund for it.

What if my jewelry needs a repair or resizing?

I offer free repairs within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, Jewelry Repair and Ring Resizing services are available in the Services section of my shop. If something happens to your jewelry that seems unusual or unexpected, please reach out before purchasing a repair service. I’m always happy to review the situation and determine the best way to help. Repairs needed from normal wear, accidental damage, or improper care may require the purchase of a repair service. If you’re unsure which service you need, please message me—I’m always happy to help!

STERLING SILVER:
Sterling silver is most commonly used when creating long-lasting silver jewelry. Keeping your sterling silver necklace in a cool, dry place is suggested. Sterling can oxidize with time. If your piece is to tarnish, it can be easily restored by simply using a polishing cloth.

14k GOLD-FILL & ROSE GOLD-FILL:
Gold fill is a high-quality, affordable alternative to solid gold. Creating a gold-fill piece involves taking a thick layer (100x thicker than gold plating) of gold and bonding it to a (nickel and alloy-free) base metal. Gold-fill is a durable, safe for sensitive skin, and economical option for those looking to have everyday wear pieces.

- If ordering only 1 earring, you will have the option in this drop-down to choose a left or a right twist earring. Pairs will come with both a left and a right twist earring.

2. Select the size you feel best fits your piercing style
- Depending upon the placement of your piercing and the width of your lobe, you may select a slightly smaller or larger size twist earring to guarantee a snug fit.

- If your lobe is thinner and/or your piercing is lower down on your lobe - a slightly smaller twist earring (7mm) may be a better fit for you.

- If your lobe is thicker and/or your piercing is higher up on your lobe - a slightly larger twist earring (9mm) may be a better fit for you.

I had bought a pair similar, years ago and had forgotten where I bought them. One sadly got caught on something and over stretched and I was unable to put them back to the original shape. I had bought similar ones on Amazon and even temu, but they were both the same, meaning, there wasn’t a left and right one even though they were advertised as such, which bothered me. I was skeptical but I’m glad I purchased these! I have missed having this style!

While the item is exactly as described and has not tarnished over time, ultimately I would not recommend it. The bar will always be curved through the piercing hole, which is very comfortable and I cannot wear it for long periods of time.
