Why is my headband wig shedding?

Shedding is completely normal for the first day or so with your headband wig. We take a lot of the weight out of the hair using thinning shear, the loose hair will attach to the remaining hair via static, the only way for this hair to completely detach is to fall naturally. Once this hair has fallen there will be no more shedding. We take the weight out of the wigs so they can be worn up comfortably.

How do I take care of my wig?

Your wig should be washed with synthetic hair shampoo and conditioner. We recommend that you spray your wig with a fibre oil conditioning spray after each use, especially the wavy and long length styles. This will prevent the wig going dry and matting.

Can i swim in my wig? Yes you can, ultimately salt water and chlorine will shorten the life of your wig but we have numerous customers who use their wigs for swimming, paddle boarding and snorkellin, just to mention a few.

Do you offer custom sizing for petite or large cap? Yes we offer custom sizing for cap sizes, we also custom size wigs for children.

Can I return my wig if it is unsuitable?

Yes of course, as long as the wig has not been custom sized or cut and is returned in the same condition it was received in. It is important when you try the wig on that you use a wig cap as once the wig is worn without one it is not returnable due to hygiene reasons. Please use tracked shipping for your return method and if you are returning from overseas please be patient, some parcels are taking weeks or months to make their way through customs and arrive with us. Tracked shipping means you can track the item for piece of mind that this has not been lost in the postal system. Once we receive your return it will be checked and refunds processed within 14 days.

Why did i not get the band colour i had choosen with my wig?

We strongly recommend choosing two band colours, a first and second preference. Normally if your choosen band is out of stock we will send you a random selection, if you have a second preference though this will be sent instead. Previously we would have emailed the customer to let them know their choosen band was out of stock and to pick another but unfortunately we have been in a position where we have waited for days or sometimes weeks for a response which ultimately delays the order & shipping process. Is there a charge for returning items? The buyer is responsible for all return costs, postage and any relevant customs charges. With effect from 6th November 2022 all of the following items will be charged a £5 restocking fee if returned for a refund. Gym & swim wigs Hats with hair attached Face framers human hair fringe bangs Human hair caps & human hair halos will be charged a £10 restocking fee. These items are all made to order and need to be inspected, stock updated and repackaged, hence why the restock surcharge will be applicable.

Our standard gym & swim wig is 57cm, adjustable by 2cm. If you are outside this size please request a custom size, there is no additional cost for this. All other hats & baseball caps will fit up to 58cm.

Our headband wigs are perfect for the gym or holidays. They have been specifically designed to be worn up and styled with no visible wefts. These are great for hot weather as they don't have the heaviness of a full wig while still giving total coverage. They hair looks very natural, right down to the fly away strands.

The wig comes attached to a base band which is made from a secure elastic and has a velcro fastening. This provides the needed security if you want to tie the hair up high. There is anti slip material hand stitched into the wig so it will not move during physical activity. You can choose 1 coloured headband to go with your wig.

This colour is champagne blonde. The length is around 18 inches although we can cut the hair shorter for you by a wig speciialist for a charge of £10 per wig.

We use a mixed fiber synthetic hair. You are not buying an off the peg headband wig, you are purchasing a high quality custom product which is perfect for everyday use.
