🧶THIS LISTING IS FOR A DIGITAL PDF KNITTING PATTERN - Printed copies are not available🧶

🍊 Fits the new 145g Boxed Chocolate Orange 🍊

📮 This snowy Post Box holds a Chocolate Orange instead of Christmas cards, ready to be delivered to friends and family!

Attach a mini calendar pad to the front for a useful desktop gift (empty box stays inside after chocolate is eaten) or embroider the recipient’s initials onto the knitted white space beneath.

You will need a boxed Chocolate Orange and a Mini Paper Calendar Tab with monthly tear off pages and self-adhesive backing (widely available).

All you need are two straight needles and small amounts of DK yarn. A basic knowledge of intarsia colour-work is helpful.

⚠️ Please don't ignore 'Tension Guide' instructions given in pattern - it is there to help you - not all DK yarns are the same thickness and not everyone knits with the same tension!

Tiny amounts of toy stuffing / cotton wool are needed for little Robin Redbreast.

* Stocking Stitch
* Garter Stitch
* Worked Flat
* 4mm Single-pointed Needles for Post Box
* 3.25mm Single-pointed Needles for Robin

I knitted this pattern but it seems to have knitted up quite big. I am going to try it on a smaller needle next time. I do love it so hope the smaller needle works as I knit them for charity

Thank you for your kind review. The tension guide is clearly given in the pattern (and is the standard guide for 4mm needles and DK, as stated on yarn balls). It is important to check your own tension against this, so you can adjust needle size before beginning the project.😊
