How are they made?

They were first felted with the needle, then felted more in the washer and dryer twice. They are 100% wool, all made by hand in my home studio in a smoke-free environment.

They are environmentally friendly and save you money on your electricity bills because wool absorbs moisture from your clothes. They will last for years!

More balls = less time and less time = smaller utility bills.

HOW IT WORKS?

* Your NEW BEST FRIEND dryer balls reduce drying time, approx. 25% - 40%, depending on the size of the load and the number of drying balls used, allowing the air to circulate freely in the laundry.

* They also reduce wrinkles, static and soften clothes naturally! Protect your clothes from harmful chemicals and say goodbye forever to the dryer sheets!

* They soften your clothes, like a fabric softener, with a soft separation and friction action. The fabric softener contains corrosive chemicals that soften your clothes but make them more flammable. This also increases the risk of fire in your dryer.

* Just throw them in your dryer with your freshly laundered clothes and put your dryer on the moisture sensitive setting and let them do all the work.

* You can if you want, apply essential oils and you get a diffused pleasant and sweet smell. You can apply a few drops of oil (2-3 drops) directly to your wool drying balls and let them dry for an hour. ... To avoid staining the fabric, you can add essential oils to a meat injector or syringe and inject the oils in the center of the drying balls.

* Air dry after each use.

* Over time, they may start to have 'hairs', shave them like any other wool sweater.

Each drying ball is about 8 to 10 inches all around. The size may vary slightly due to the nature of the product but you have the choice at purchase between a few different price and sizes.


At least 3 are required per dryer load. Large capacity dryers may require more depending on the size of the load and the balls chosen.


The more wool balls you add to your tumble dryer, the faster and easier your drying results will be.
