Fiddle Bow Bread Knife *** Left Handed ***

An extremely sharp bread knife allows you to make even slices of bread. No pressure is needed, the weight of the knife will do the work.

Made of Local Maine Woods whenever possible. Shaped and sanded to a super smooth finish we then add three coats of food-safe finish. Sanding between each coat for an incredible feel.

The blades are installed while the wood is under slight pressure to ensure a taut fit. Rawhide hang loop is added. Our knives come with a cover to protect the blade (and your fingers!) The blade cover is made of a variety of different woods and finished with a food-safe finish as well.

Care is easy, wipe clean, and store.

Please note, the images show an example of the woods used - each knife will be the species chosen, but the grain, figure & color will vary.

Each image also shows a variety of right and left-handed knives. However, you will receive a knife from your selection.

This is a Christmas gift so it hasn’t been used yet but I peeked inside the box and let me tell you this knife is beautiful. The wood is gorgeous and smooth and the blade has a little safety guard. I can’t believe how quickly it arrived!

A work of art with its beautifully made, sculptured, wooden handle. My husband loves it. He said it cut through his extra crusty bread as though it were butter.

Beautiful knife and so easy on bread. I make a lot of bread and then when my husband cuts it with a serrated knife it’s always smooshed. This knife has solved all that.
