The fabric and stitching are solid. I love this thing. The 5 lb weight is heavy enough to be pleasant for my autistic body/brain but not so heavy as to be unwieldy when worn on my shoulders while doing things around the house.

Absolute sanity-saver when I'm overloaded--got the lighter weight so I can carry it in my bag, and it's just enough to settle the nerves. Seems very sturdy and has held up perfectly the last few months, even with all the going in and out of my bag and being squashed by hefty casebooks it has to put up with. The fact that it's washable is a great plus. Thank you!
