WILL MY ITEMS LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE?

I do my best to recreate each item as closely as possible to the listing photos. There may be slight variations, however, due to the nature of handmade. This means each piece is unique! Occasionally, flowers are discontinued or out of stock and will be replaced with materials of similar color and size so the overall affect of the piece will remain the same.

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER MY FLOWERS?

I use primarily dried flowers, preserved plants, paper flowers, millinery and artificial florals. These materials are long lasting and designed as keepsakes. I would recommend ordering up to 2 months in advance if you live in a humid environment and longer if you live in a dried climate. Here in Colorado the climate is fairly arid so things last for years and years! Your items will look their best when stored in a cool, dark and dry location until you are ready to use them. I recommend checking on them occasionally so there are no last minute surprises!

DO YOU DO CUSTOM WORK?

I can occasionally take custom orders. Feel free to message me and I will accommodate if time or supplies allow.

Materials: dried grains and grasses

DRIED BUNCHES OF GRASSES AND GRAINS
*please see individual species descriptions below for current crop details and stem count*

These tidy little dried grain and grass bundles are perfect for DIY decorating your own vase or combine a few varieties to create your own interesting "meadow effect" arrangement or tablescape. You can use them upon receiving as they are clean and trimmed, particularly useful if you are short on time or an apartment dweller.

PROCESS
* I have sorted out the most premium stems from a larger, bulkier bunch + cleaned and trimmed most of the excess material. Smaller bundles are created for a cleaner, more manageable bunch for small projects or plopping in to bud vases.

DETAILS
*Stem lengths top out around 11” high
*These bundles have been created by dividing and cleaning larger bunches of grains & grasses in to smaller, more manageable sized bundles for small projects and vases.
*Stems can be trimmed to desired length with standard scissors.

PRICING
*(1) Bundle $12 each

MIX and MATCH BUNDLE TYPES
*Blonde Bearded Wheat (12 stems)
*Brown Bearded Wheat ( 12 stems)
*China Millet (6 stems)
*Canary Spray Grass (6 stems) This grass has a "floppy", loose form.
*Bunny Tails-(20 stems)
*Phalaris Grass (20 stems)
*Green Beardless Wheat (12 stems)
*Green Bearded Wheat (12 stems)
*Avena Oats (12 stems)
*Green Brome (30 stems)
*Dark hunter green Setaria (10 stems) (this grass has been dyed)

USES
*leave them tied together as cute little bundles for scattering/displaying
*untie the bundles apart for bud vases or crafting

N O T E
*Dried plants and flowers are delicate. Please expect a little shedding during shipping and while handling.

CARE
*Florist's Preservative Sealer
Apply this clear spray, using several light layers, to help protect against humidity, fading and shedding. The coating won't yellow with age or cause the original colors to become distorted. It is the choice of the professionals. Locate floral sealant in the floral department of large craft stores.

*Hairspray
Apply 2-3 layers of unscented hairspray to help keep the dried materials intact. Hairspray does not provide humidity or UV protection like the floral sealer so it is best to display your dried plants out of direct sunlight.
