All buttons are made to order, and are made on a first come first served basis so depending on the current production queue ahead of your order and the size of your order, they can take up to two weeks from the day you place your order for them to be shipped out, especially in peak season.

Some hats are ready to ship and others are made to order, this is clearly noted on the listing page above.
Ready to ship hats will take 3 - 5 business days (business days do not include weekends) to ship out, they made need to be collected from storage and/or mounted to your specifications.
Made to Order hats have a two to three week turn around and you will be notified of the scheduled ship by date on your Etsy Order page.

Scroll down until you reach the Production Queue list, your order will either be under the headers
"In Production" - This order has been started and is currently being worked on.
"In Queue" - These orders are waiting to be started.
"Completed Ready to Ship" - These orders are finished, packaged up and on their way to the Post Office.
"Now Shipped" - These orders have been passed to the Post Office and will be delivered to you shortly.

More often than not the answer is yes, but please bear in mind that some materials and embellishments are vintage one offs so there is no other colour alternatives available.

No, the 1/2" - 12mm size is the smallest button blank available to cover by hand, smaller sizes - 3/8" for example - are premade in a factory and are available retail in many haberdashery outlets, but normally only in White or Ivory.

Yes you can! Please contact me for a quote for the quantity you need. The amount of fabric you will need to send me will be defined by the quantity of buttons you need.
I will need to know the type of fabric you have as it must be very thin to fit inside the button blanks. Fabrics such as Duchess Satin are too thick, but if you would like to send me a swatch of your thick fabric, I can match it to a thinner fabric that will work in the buttons.

Don't panic, International shipping can take UP TO 6 weeks to arrive.
Once shipped, international delivery can take anywhere from 1 - 6 weeks as an exact delivery time can't be guaranteed.
This covers any eventuality, delays leaving the outgoing country, processing backlog delays as it is entering the destination country, hold ups stemming from weather, terrorist threats, government shut downs, postal worker strikes, and being held at the destination countries Customs for assessment.
The average time for items to arrive Internationally is between 12 and 18 days, but there are so many variables that it is impossible to say it will arrive in that time frame every time. Sometimes it arrives sooner, sometimes longer.

I purchased it from a stage prop company when I lived in New York who were having a one day public flash sale. It was one of those lucky finds that I stumbled on just walking down the street as they weren't normally open to the public.

Button blanks come in a limited range of sizes. If you want something a mm different then there is often a button size that will work as the fabric will add a fraction of width to the button.
