The Evolution moccasin is for those of us who believe that we are ever Evolving Beings. Slip on these amazingly comfortable handmade boots and literally become one with nature.
Feast your eyes on the evolution of our very own Forest Boot design. Our Forest boots (in a separate listing) are a spin-off from the traditional tall moccasin with our hand carved leaves adorning all around the calf and Tread Light's signature hand etched leaves parading down the front of the boot.
Now we've taken the original Forest Boot and added LEATHER LEAF APPLIQUE! To further the evolution we applique falling leaves down the back of your boot and a few to the tongue and tops of your toes. The larger appliqued leaves also serve as pockets to tuck in your money or I.D., a picture of your love, an energizing crystal, or maybe even a baby pickle! We'll also hand etch a few falling leaves and scatter a few stones of our choosing in the leaves and onto the boot for added awesomeness!
The main boot comes standard with a thick chocolate brown bullhide upper and a large brown leather leaf extending from the tongue and hanging over the front of the boot. The leaves hanging down around the calf vary in shapes and sizes using all of the colorful, rich browns and bright green we find in the forest. We sew a Vibram sole to the soft leather to protect your feet. Vibram is one of the best sole options on the market and is designed to mimic a barefoot feeling when you walk. You won't even know you're wearing these boots! They're simply that comfortable.
Feel free to CUSTOMIZE THE COLORS of the boot to reflect your own unique style and personality! Add GREEN leaves to a PURPLE boot! Feeling like a dark faerie? Get a BLACK boot with CREAM and black leaves! DO you like to stand out? Order a TURQUOISE boot with GREEN leaves. The choice is yours, get creative!
Every moccasin we produce is hand cut, hand punched and hand stitched. A lot of love goes in to each pair we make. The etchings on the leaves may vary and the mixture of browns we use for each boot is uniquely it's own.

These Boots are beyond beautiful! I have wanted a pair for some time and decided to buy a pair for my upcoming Renaissance fair costume.
